Bitcoin recently passed $50,000 CAD per coin and is highly regarded as ‘money for the people’ among internet folk. The thought of owning Bitcoin can be exciting but at the same time daunting, considering the mass price fluctuations cryptocurrencies go through on a daily basis.
I recently stumbled upon two new Canadian crypto exchanges that both offer new customers free rewards, one of which will give you free Bitcoin on a daily basis just for opening their app and shaking your phone. Literally.
Shakepay
Reward 1: Shakepay is currently running a promotion where if you purchase $100 of Bitcoin they will credit you with $30 CAD for free. You can then e-transfer the full $130 back to your bank if you’d like.
Reward 2: Shakepay has another program where you can literally shake your cell phone and collect free Bitcoin every single day. The amounts are small, but in the end it adds up to just over $50 per month CAD, which you can keep in the app as Bitcoin continues to change in value, or e-transfer to your bank at anytime with no fees.
In order to become eligible for this perk you must sign up using a referral link (that’s mine) or have someone sign up using yours.
Once you do, you unlock Shaking Sats.
Every single day simply open the app, shake your device, and you instantly get a small amount of free Bitcoin.
On day one you will get 500 Satoshis ($0.20 CAD). Every day you continue to shake, that amount goes up until you reach the maximum of45,000 Satoshis on day 201($1.62 CAD).

At any point you can e-transfer the funds to your bank account with no fees, or hold the BTC in the app if you want to save up.
It may not seem like much, but for ~5 seconds a day you can literally cover your cell phone bill each month — not bad if you ask me!
